free wood carving and carpentry workshops
residents of the brownfield estate are invited to join in a local reclaimed wood carpentry project, starting on the 29th september.
working alongside a local intergenerational group, the project will design sculpture benches for the new eco-hub outside balfron tower. construction will follow on the 13th, 20th and possibly 27th october.
the project is being led by suraya and danny from city wood, and will be held at the burcham street community centre, london e14 0sh.
