Every Sunday afternoon, between 2-4pm, the Greening Brownfield community garden is open to the public. It's the perfect time to drop in, have a look around, meet some of our members, and find out how to get involved.
You can learn how to get your own veg growing space on the estate, or, if you just fancy a bit of no-strings-attached muddy fun, there are plenty of quick jobs to get stuck into, from building planters and moving machinery to weeding, watering, and digging.
There's lots for kids to do as well: we've got a dedicated children's play area with a slide, see-saw, rocking horse and sandpit, and a shiny yellow wheel-barrow for them to cart soil around in.
We're on the old tennis court next to Carradale House. Next Sunday, why not switch off the TV, jump off the sofa, and come get your hands dirty instead? You won't regret it!
